Twenty Solar Research and Development projects will push the boundaries of innovation
As part of ARENA’s Research and Development Program, ARENA has awarded $29.22 million in grant funding toward the Research and Development (R&D) of solar PV in Australia.
The successful early-stage projects will aim to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of solar PV, from creating flexible solar devices to making semi-transparent, high-efficiency solar cells for integrating into windows.
All successful projects of the Solar R&D Funding Round were chosen on the basis of their merit and diversity in this area of innovation. Each project contributes to ARENA’s existing portfolio of solar R&D projects and is highly valued in maintaining Australia’s world leading position in solar PV research.
