The project aims to develop and construct 16 metropolitan electric vehicle charging stations in Adelaide and Perth. Each site will have one 120kw DC EV charger, capable of charging two cars simultaneously. This report covers Perth operations.

At the time of site planning there was only the typical wait times to install metering of 6 – 12 weeks. However as a result of a confluence of issues in WA (surge in construction, loss of personnel to mining and mining support companies, there has been a collapse in the DNSP’s ability to install metering for new projects. As a result wait times for metering installation has been currently estimated by the DNSP to be 6 – 12 months. As a result, sites that have been built will have to wait months before being commissioned.
