Emerging Renewables Program (ERP) Guidelines
The Emerging Renewables Program was designed to support a broad range of development, demonstration and early stage deployment projects that have the potential to lower the cost and increase the use of renewable energy technologies in Australia.The program included funding for measures that fill critical knowledge gaps in the industry as well as projects that overcome barriers to large scale renewable energy projects in regional or remote Australia.The program was initiated by the Australian Centre for Renewable Energy (ACRE) and inherited by ARENA 1 July 2012 when ACRE was merged into ARENA.The Emerging Renewables Program was superseded by the Advancing Renewables Program in 2015.
