Today marks ARENA’s second anniversary. ARENA was set up as an independent Australian Government agency, to establish the infrastructure needed to deliver the next generation of renewable energy technology.
ARENA’s mandate is to invest across the innovation chain to improve renewable energy affordability and increase its use. We work closely with the industry, business and university sectors to hasten the commercialisation of renewable energy technologies. ARENA supports projects from a range of technologies at different stages of development, from research and development through to near-commercial deployment and demonstration.
