This submission provides background information on ARENA projects and relevant experience with renewable energy generation; storage; and interactions with the electricity network and demand for electricity from consumers and industry. The submission also outlines ARENA’s broader approach to enabling affordable, reliable electricity supply with a high proportion of renewable energy.
