The Australian Solar Thermal Energy Association (AUSTELA) has released the results of an ARENA supported investigation into Australia’s solar thermal prospects.
Research was provided by the University of Technology Sydney’s Institute for Sustainable Futures. The study was also supported by the University of NSW, Ergon Energy and IT Power and seven power companies operating in the NEM provided essential data.
The results have been used to create interactive maps that provide insight into network investment, firm capacity and solar thermal cost effectiveness.
