On 17 March, ARENA CEO Ivor Frischknecht delivered a keynote speech at the Remote Area Power Supply Conference in Sydney.
“Renewable energy’s ability to help remote communities and industry become more energy self-sufficient is becoming increasingly important now that the focus of energy policy is sharpening on the twin goals of affordability and the security of energy supply,” Ivor said.
Ivor spoke about the benefits of renewable energy in remote and off-grid areas in Australia and how ARENA’s Regional Australia’s Renewables initiative is supporting this.
