Report extract
The CQ-H2 Project (the Project) Feasibility Study has assessed the viability of a large-scale renewable hydrogen supply chain to Japan. The Feasibility Study (the Study) has been undertaken by a consortium of six companies (Stanwell Corporation Limited (Stanwell), Iwatani Corporation (Iwatani), Kawasaki Heavy Industries Limited (KHI), Marubeni Corporation (Marubeni), Kansai Electric Power Company Incorporated (KEPCO), and APA Group (APA) – collectively referred to as the Consortium) under the leadership of Stanwell and Iwatani. The objective of the Feasibility Study was to build upon the Concept Study and to further define the Project’s technical solution, financial and commercial metrics and stakeholder dynamics, with an aim of developing and delivering a well-defined and understood project description which would form the basis for further project definition and development.
